"This wine lives up to and, to my mind at this stage of its evolution in barrel, perhaps eclipses any other Pinot I have tasted from the Adelaide Hills..."
"…I noted it was near-perfect, and I stand by this thought today. And now it is bottled, I can register my enthusiasm with a score. As I wrote, back in January, 'Chapeau.' 19.5+/20"
The Pinot Noir project
Shortly after flowering it was observed that due to poor weather conditions 2024 would be a drastically small vintage.
What first appeared as a looming disaster, emerged as a great opportunity. We believe 2024 produced the best parcels of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir we have seen in the past 20 years.
The decision was made to produce a limited number of bottles of this outstanding Pinot Noir vintage to be made available to our followers appreciative of a rare and outstanding Pinot Noir.
